I use the DT990 Pro 250 ohm. Initially I used to hate them, the treble was too strong for me. Then I paired them with soundblaster G6. Did EQ, and now I do like them. They have very good soundstage and gives you immersive experience. However, most likely I will return them and try out AKG712K because I miss deep right bass.

HOWEVER, its 250 Ohm impedance was a bit much for my little interface I was using for online jamming. But, lo and behold, when I took a look on Amazon, I found that Beyer-Dynamic were offering an 80 Ohm unit of the "same" DT-990. I immediately ordered this device and took back the AKG and the 250 Ohm headphone sets to the music shop.

770 250 ohm: standard V shaped closed back, nothing special. I prefer the Shure SRH 840 or even the AKG K371. 880 250/600: The best out of the bunch and the only Beyerdynamic besides the T1.2 and T70 that I really like. Standard 250 ohm version is great, the 600 ohm feels a tad more refined (after reducing the treble peak). Nice tuning (apart . 334 13 353 102 306 211 164 218 230
