I average about 15 hours per run of the cycle. But yes, the DLCs when played in order are the best part of the game. #2. Decoy Nov 1, 2014 @ 6:01pm. Buy them now you wont regret it! I've never tried the DLC, so I was wondering if spending the extra ~$4 on the Ultimate Edition which includes all of the six DLC packs is worth it. Thanks. New Vegas is fantastic, but the DLC is so much better. Old World Blues is my favorite part of Fallout ever. The four content DLCs are really well done, but very different from New Vegas itself.
Make up your 4 skill books (science, medicine, speech, and repair) then fast travel back to HIGGS VILLAGE and head east. Just east of the building is SUPER-EGO, a unique ROBO-BRAIN. kill and loot it, then continue east to a small radioactive pool with a few loot containers.
Quickly White-Leg raiders ambush your caravan and after a quick firefight you are the only survivor. Go ahead and loot and search all the bodies. If you have excess put them in the 3 dufflebags by the cliff wall, you can come back for them later when you want. Make a hard save, a good starting spot for a save area.
Best bet would be to refund and buy the ultimate edition. No sense in buying all the dlc separately when you can just buy the complete version for less money and only double the amount of the base game.
